Birthday : August 9th Western Zodiac : Leo Age : 17 Height : 6'2" Nationality : Korean |

First Appearance : At the beginning of Volume #01. Profile from volume #1 : Powerful, strong, and resilient - but underhanded and dishonest. When he lives up to his name, he really can be a heroic person - but he has a tendancy to turn on people, even his friends, in an instant. Something is wrong with him deep inside...he longs for someone who can take control. Family : Mother Father - Jang Hae-Yo Occupation : Since he was little Ha-Da has worked in Romeo - one of the many clubs his father owns - to earn money. By the time he's 17 his father has given Club Romeo to him. Hobbies : Listening to Prodigy? Not sure. He seems to like motorcycles though as he's always riding them. In volume #1 he says that he has a collection of 10 bikes. Ambition : He doesn't seem to have any real ambitions. However, he does seem to see himself as filling the same role for So-Na as his father fills for So-Na's father: to live in her shadow and do her dirty work for her. Name Meaning : I'm not certain what Ha-Da's name actually means. It's referred to many times as being strange and - as the profile above says - seems to have something to do with being heroic. For whatever reason, Tokyopop never sees fit to translate it properly for us. All I do know that the verb 'hada' in Korean means 'to do' and, as a suffix, can be used to turn nouns into verbs. Nicknames : Romeo, Apollo, Damian, the Little Prince, Peter Pan, Nero (Ko-Mo calls him this), So-Na's Little Lapdog. Ha-Da is called a whole load of things by different people in the manhwa. About : Ha-Da is most often described - and usually dismissed - as being a play-boy. His father is wealthy and most likely owns a large collection of nightclubs and bars. But his father's also a gangster and so to a certain extent Ha-Da is connected with the criminal underworld. However, he hasn't had it easy just because his family is rich and influential. His father's work ethic seems to be that you have to work for what you get, so whilst Ha-Da does have a lot of money and expensive things, he worked for them all. In the same way - although he is often called a play-boy - he spends practically the whole series obsessed with Ko-Mo and so doesn't show much evidence of being one at all. | |
